ompañe a quien llega con las manos vacías\n\n\n\n\n\nWhy Do We Pray for
This?\n\n\nGod’s Word commands us to love the foreigner\, because we too
were once strangers. Today there are families in our communities living i
n fear\, separated from the people they love\, and not knowing what tomorr
ow holds. We pray because God’s heart is with the one who suffers\, and
because the church is called to be a place of welcome\, hope\, and truth f
or the immigrant.\n\n\n-   For families who are separated and for those
living in fear and uncertainty\n-   For protection\, provision\, and dig
nity for immigrants and their children\n-   For wisdom for leaders to fi
nd solutions that are just\, humane\, and orderly\n-   For a church that
opens its doors\, serves with love\, and walks alongside those who arrive
  empty-handed
