 a cosa pido al Señor y es lo único que persigo: habitar en la casa del S
 eñor todos los días de mi vida\, para contemplar la hermosura del Señor
  y buscar orientación en su Templo. \n5 Porque en el día de la aflicci
 ón él me resguardará en su morada\; al amparo de su santuario me proteg
 erá y me pondrá en alto sobre una roca. \n6 Me hará prevalecer frente 
 a los enemigos que me rodean\; en su santuario ofreceré sacrificios de al
 abanza y cantaré y entonaré salmos al Señor. \n7 Oye\, Señor\, mi voz
  cuando a ti clamo\; compadécete de mí y respóndeme. 8El corazón me di
 ce: «¡Busca su rostro!».\n8 El corazón … su rostro! A ti dice mi cor
 azón: «Busquen mi rostro». Y yo\, Señor\, tu rostro busco. \n9 No esc
 ondas de mí tu rostro\; no rechaces\, en tu enojo\, a este siervo tuyo\, 
 porque tú has sido mi ayuda. No me desampares ni me abandones\, Dios de m
 i salvación. \n10 Aunque mi padre y mi madre me abandonen\, el Señor me
  acogerá. \n11 Guíame\, Señor\, por tu camino\; dirígeme por la senda
  de rectitud\, por causa de mis enemigos. \n12 No me entregues al caprich
 o de mis adversarios\, pues contra mí se levantan testigos falsos que res
 piran violencia.\n13 Pero de una cosa estoy seguro: he de ver la bondad de
 l Señor en esta tierra de los vivientes. \n14 Pon tu esperanza en el Se
 ñor\; cobra ánimo y ármate de valor\, ¡pon tu esperanza en el Señor!'

 e me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock. \n6 T
 hen my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me\; at his sac
 red tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy\; I will sing and make music 
 to the Lord. \n7 Hear my voice when I call\, Lord\; be merciful to me and
  answer me. \n8 My heart says of you\, “Seek his face!” Your face\, L
 ord\, I will seek. \n9 Do not hide your face from me\, do not turn your s
 ervant away in anger\; you have been my helper. Do not reject me or forsak
 e me\, God my Savior. \n10 Though my father and mother forsake me\, the L
 ord will receive me. \n11 Teach me your way\, Lord\; lead me in a straigh
 t path because of my oppressors. \n12 Do not turn me over to the desire o
 f my foes\, for false witnesses rise up against me\, spouting malicious ac
 cusations. \n13 I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of th
 e Lord in the land of the living. \n14 Wait for the Lord\; be strong and
